Analysis of Government, Geography, Economy, and Religion
The Connecticut colony had a very effective form of government, or the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut. They allowed all property owners which were men to vote, as well as limiting the power of the governor. This was somewhat influenced from the Massachusetts government because Hooker disagreed on how they were governed, so he established his own way where he limited the power of the governor. This also led on to influence our constitution and government. The religion was Puritan, just like most of the other New England colonies, and their industries focused on fishing and whaling just like all of the New England colonies because of their cold climate fr being up North.

Analysis of why colony was founded and how this affected who moved to the colony:
Thomas Hooker founded Connecticut because he thought that the government had too much power with the towns people's life and wanted to set up a government with strict limitations. He led around 100 colonists who had the same idea as him to the land now known as Connecticut. The new government gave all men who were property owners the right to vote and such. People had much more freedom in his colony and lived better under the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut.
