Analysis of Government, Geography, Economy, and Religion
The Massachusetts colony affected most of the other colonies's form of government as the Mayflower Compact helped play a role in the advancement of self-government. The Mayflower Compact influenced other forms of government. Their industries and economy was affected by their climate, which was affected by the Massachusetts colony being more up north in the New England colonies. The climate was not too cold, so the Massachusetts colony could farm and raise livestock, as well as focus on fishing and whaling for oils, just like the other New England colonies. Their sense of self-government, which was established by the Mayflower Compact, helped establish the colony's rules and influenced much more.

Analysis of why colony was founded and how this affected who moved to the colony:
Massachusetts Bay Colony was founded by Puritans who were in search of religious freedom. The Puritans were being persecuted back in England and wanted escape to the New World. Although this allowed several Puritans to come and seek freedom in the New World, the Puritans were based of religion and did not tolerate other religions. They're life styles and government was based of their teachings. The Puritan church prided themselves of being pure from the traditions of the old Roman Catholic church. This harsh rule caused several dissenters to be formed, which causes the formation of other New England colonies.
